FPS and Accuracy Testing for the Dart Zone Pro-Series MK-4

At Dart Zone®, we don’t want to just tell you what our next-generation dart blasters can do – we want you to see it for yourself. In this video, check out our feet per second (FPS) and accuracy spreads for the Dart Zone Pro®-Series MK-4, the latest entry in the Dart Zone® MK lineup.

This spring-powered dart blaster includes a new translucent 15-round half-length dart magazine and a wide array of innovative features, including a supercharge muzzle to boost FPS, a scar barrel, a spring compression window, pop-up sights and more. With a quick spring change, these foam blasters can go from competition-friendly 120 FPS to 200 FPS for certified pros.

Watch as we perform FPS tests of the standard red MK-4 Spring-Powered Blaster using the MK-4’s lower-power spring, followed by FPS tests of the Limited-Edition Blue MK-4 Spring- Powered Blaster using the higher-power spring. We also conduct FPS tests using some of the MK-4’s awesome accessories, including the supercharge FPS muzzle and the scar barrel. Spoiler alert – our FPS results are as follows:

  • For the lower-power spring and no attachment: Average of 97.6 FPS
  • For the lower-power spring and the scar barrel: Average of 94.4 FPS
  • For the lower-power spring with the supercharge muzzle: Average of 99.4 FPS
  • For the higher-power spring and no attachment: Average of 182.4 FPS
  • For the higher-power spring with the scar barrel: Average of 183 FPS
  • For the higher-power spring with the supercharge muzzle: Average of 222 FPS

Then, we use a digital screen to show you the spreads that we get when we perform accuracy tests from 20 feet away and 50 feet away. Watch the tests and see for yourself what the groupings look like.
