S2 EP 3 Nitroshot Venom and Stryker

Branon: Hello and welcome back to another blaster chat with myself, Branon, and Bryan. How are you guys doing today? I’m doing great. I’m super stoked about this launch. I’ve been stoked for this podcast. I think we got a lot to talk about, but the highlight, guys, is that you can come to Target now and get a full pro loadout for a hundred bucks.

Bryan: Yes. We take it to the next level. This podcast is about the product being live. It’s in stores, on shelves, and online. So go check it out. We’re here to talk about the Nitroshot Plus line and its brand new color scheme, packaging, and marketing. We want you to feel even more confident about your purchase because we’ve got some cool stuff to talk about today.

Branon: Absolutely. Let’s talk Nitroshot+. What is Nitroshot+? You’ve seen a Nitroshot and Nitroshot+. The plus is pretty important, right? The Nitroshot+ line is for ages 14+. The Nitroshot is for ages 8+. We’ll have podcasts about that as well. But for now, we’re focusing on the 14+ line. You’re going to see the new packaging, which has been really fun to design.

It’s purple and green. Those are going to be our key colors moving forward. The Nitroshot and Nitroshot+ line names refer to the darts inside. Years back, we started putting “number one darts” on our marketing and packaging. That was a statement based on community feedback. In the spirit of keeping that promise to the community, we are always iterating.

We always try to make a better dart than the one we made yesterday. This has led to a lot of cool variations of darts. The new variation for the 14+ line is the Nitroshot+ bamboo dart. Let me grab one quickly.

Bryan: If you get one and take it out of the box, you’ll see that it has bamboo indentations on it. We’ve added a third ring for better grip for flywheels. When the pro dart was launched, it was only for the Dart Zone Pro MK1. We’ve had a lot of springers since then, but as we moved into flywheels, we realized that extra grip is needed for better performance.

The third ring is designed for flywheels. The darts are upgraded and included with all the Dart Zone Max Nitroshot+ products on the market right now.

Branon: We’re super stoked. The bamboo 2X is a little heavier than the bamboo 2.0. This time, we’ve gone a little heavier again, just under one gram.

Bryan: The extra weight improves accuracy. You get equal performance out of flywheelers or a spring blaster. We think these are the best darts we’ve made to date in the pro line. They’ll be available on our site around Labor Day in a 150-pack for $14.99. Quality and value are important. You’re getting the same value as you get for a hundred darts for $10 elsewhere. So stock up on our website.

Bryan: The darts are the foundation, and the blasters are like the icing on the cake.

Branon: Absolutely. Let’s dive into the blasters. This is the Stryker 2.0. If you’ve been a shopper of Dart Zone Max, you might recognize the name. It has the name of the original Stryker, our first Target-exclusive pump-action Springer.

Bryan: It was a big primary that looked like a sniper rifle. We’ve continually improved our products. The Nexus Pro, now the Nexus Pro X, and the Aeon Pro X are available at Walmart. The Stryker follows the same pipeline. We recognize a good form factor and tweak it to make it better.

Branon: For a short time, we had the Tomcat on the market. We’ve combined the best of both worlds into one blaster. You get two blasters in one for $50. We aim to pack as much value as possible into the box while keeping costs reasonable.

Branon: The Stryker 2.0 is a ton of fun. It has slam fire, a roller in the back, and a fun muzzle attachment that looks cool. We’ve included a threaded scar barrel for improved accuracy, Picatinny rail, iron sights, and a holder for your scar that can go on either side. You can attach accessories to the industry-standard holes on the side of the blaster.

Branon: This blaster has a bring-your-own-handle setup, double mag release, and a stock on a typical buffer tube. We’ve added a laser-printed design for a sci-fi look. To remove the drum, you need to prime it back. The blaster has a skinny pusher, and once you insert the adapter and push it forward, you can use the included magazine.

Branon: The drum is rear-loading, so you can pick up darts and load them on the go. This covers the Stryker 2.0. Another cool feature is the packaging for the Nitroshot line. The box can be turned into a target for practice.

Bryan: We’re looking for sustainability. Our goal is to use the packaging more than once and reduce our footprint. Pop out the perforated target in the back, and you have a target for practice indoors or in the backyard.

Branon: The targets on the different boxes act differently. For the Stryker, you can blast through it. For the Venom, the box catches your darts. It’s like a dart dumpster.

Bryan: We’re innovating with packaging and products to create a holistic experience. We want people to pick up our products and have a good time in their backyard, house, or room. It’s a complete ecosystem right out of the box.

Branon: Before you go and use mom’s Tupperware or special china for target practice, start with the box. So, tell me about the Venom.

Bryan: The Venom Pro is a full-auto flywheel pistol blaster. It can be your primary or secondary blaster. It has an on-off switch and a rev trigger in the handle for easy use. The magazines are slim talent compatible, so you can use your existing magazines or pick up more on our website. It fires up to seven darts a second, and you can switch to semi-auto based on trigger pressure.

Bryan: It has a thumbscrew for easy battery removal and uses a rechargeable 2S LiPo battery with an XT30 connector. It offers next-level performance with venting for the flywheels. The Venom Pro will be available at Target for $50.

Branon: If you need replacement magazines for the Venom or Stryker, visit our website, dartzoneblasters.com. We’re also selling a spring upgrade kit for the Stryker 2.0, Nexus Pro X, and Aeon Pro X. You can find all the accessories you need on our website.

Bryan: From darts to mags to drums and blasters, you can find everything you need. We’re off to a good start heading into the holiday season with our fall line of products. More items are coming soon, but for now, thank you for following us at Blaster Chat. Please subscribe and keep track of our updates. We’ll be back soon with more reveals from Dart Zone.

Branon: Thank you, guys. See you in the next Blaster Chat.

Bryan: See you soon.
