Customer photo review of Nitroshot+ MK-4X

When I first purchased the Dart Zone Pro MK-4X, I was initially disappointed because I was concerned that it might not retain all the same build quality and features as the original Dart Zone Pro MK-4, especially given that this is the MK-4 "X." Since I also own the Nexus Pro X, I naturally found myself comparing the two. However, after getting my hands on the MK-4X, I was quickly proven wrong! This blaster is an absolute beast and easily my favorite Dart Zone blaster to date. The MK-4X features full-metal internals, a metal barrel with hobby-standard dimensions that should accommodate higher-quality aftermarket PCAR, BCAR, and SCAR muzzle attachments, a rubberized grip and stock, and an extremely high-quality, dense plastic shell. The included BCAR is a great touch, featuring metal bearings in a plastic housing. Internally, you get a high-quality rolling-bearing foregrip, a metal priming track, a metal catch that appears to be steel, and other metal components that appear to be aluminum or steel. It also includes extra O-rings, security screws for the stock to help support higher spring loads, and a high-quality magazine. There are tons of thoughtful design choices, too. The skinny pusher means you don't need to prime the blaster just to insert a magazine, the massive flared magwell makes reloading easier, and the quick, responsive mag release allows the magazine to drop free almost instantly. It also features an optics rail, a de-jamming button, an N-Strike stock attachment point, and an extremely upgrade-friendly design. The only downgrade I noticed compared to the Nexus Pro X is the magazine release: the MK-4X only has a push-button mag release rather than the Nexus Pro X's pull-style release. The trigger pull is also slightly heavier than the Nexus Pro X, but it remains perfectly usable. As for performance, I installed the upgrade spring from the Nexus Pro X and, with a spacer and minor pre-compression, managed to hit 390 FPS. That is incredible performance and demonstrates just how much potential this platform has for serious hobbyists and upgrade enthusiasts. My only real concern is the overall length, but let's be honest: you know what you're getting into with a blaster this size. Between the build quality, metal components, included accessories, and enormous upgrade potential, this is an incredible purchase. Dart Zone absolutely nailed it with the MK-4X, and I couldn't be happier with it. If you're an enthusiast who loves upgrading and tuning blasters, this thing is absolutely worth considering.

Customer photo review of Nitroshot+ MK-4X

Just ordered the Dart Zone MK4X. If it's anything like the original, it will be a big win. I have recently installed a 1.9 x 350mm Spring into the original MK4 and it is scary powerful. Should be fun fight out of the box, but with a couple of upgrades it'll be shooting lasers!! One star reviews, for it not showing in stock at attempted time of purchase, are not a good indication of the overall quality of the blaster. Please order based on the continued quality and service provided by Dart Zone. Happy plinking!!
