Answers from Christopher Caruso
Q: How many years have you been playing this sport?
CC: About a year and a half going to events and arenas.
Q: How many years have you been with your team?
CC: This is our first year together.
Q: How often do you practice?
CC: I play every weekend with my son. There are a lot of local events we all go to.
Q: What excites you about the Blaster League?
CC: The ability to compete with like-minded people. And the feeling of comradery.
Q: Where do you see this sport going in the future?
CC: I see competitive events becoming much more popular. The barriers to entry are coming down with new commercial offerings. This makes the sport more accessible.
Q: If there was one thing you could communicate to skeptics about this emerging sport, what would it be?
CC: That having fun and competing with each other is a great way to learn about yourself and push your boundaries.
Q: What do you hope to do with the prize money if you win?
CC: Buy more 3D printers.
Q: Please highlight any personal stories (ex. Your personal/team road to get to the final) below.
CC: Our team kind of came together from people having a good time at local events. We are a group of dedicated individuals who work hard and play harder. We came in 3rd our first event together for Q1 in Florida and 2nd for Q2 in New Jersey.
